Takeizumi Harbor

Over the past couple weeks I've continued the trajectory started earlier. I've been jumping all around the model adding details here and there. Down by the coast I've finished up the little shops and added to the warehouses that encircle the harbor. There are also a handful of businesses in the western neighborhood that serve some of the residents' needs so they don't always have to make the trip downtown.

Downtown, I've been adding to the barrier fences that separate footpaths from automobile traffic. Most of the roads in Takeizumi have to share, but the ones downtown have enough regular traffic to justify the separation. There are several different barrier designs from fencing to being separated by strips of landscaped ground. One of these designs serves the condos, which have been updated slightly from their original designs.

The barriers along the highway that passes through the north of town incorporate planter boxes to bring some flora into the hardscaped area. These bridge into the transit hub, filling in some of the hardscape surrounding the train and bus stations. More detail has been added to these, including turnstiles inside the train station.

The next steps, in no particular order, are as follows: designing the library and museum; detailing the parks, beaches, and school grounds; detailing skyscraper exteriors; and several more sections of reinforced walls.
