Status Report - HERO: Week of 09.02

Welcome travelers, old and new! September first marks the one year anniversery of when I started writing HERO's script. In those three-hundred and sixty-five days, I've written 1,065,000 words! That averages to nearly three thousand words a day! My writing pace is about one thousand words an hour, about two to three hours on an average day with more on weekends. But in terms of overall progress, there's still a long way to go. Act 1 is nearly finished, with three more chapters to go. Then we'll move into writing Act 2, followed by Act 3.

With this much in the bag, I have a better handle on what art assets are required, and will roll into producing them alongside the script. Those are backgrounds, characters sprites, and GUI elements. As usual, minor updates are posted to twitter @sasuganick and @sasugastudios a couple times a week. I hope to be able to show some visuals following this production timeline.
