In order to get the feel I want for the Fukumatsu Residence, I've priortized certain architectural elements higher than they would be in an ordinary building. The experior facade is highly important, especially the windows and roofline. The detailing of the exterior shell will increase as these elements are fleshed out.

I redid a couple things that weren't working before, like the dome in the foyer. Originally the coffered ceiling was flat but that wasn't reading properly so now it's part of the curved ceiling. That necessitated removing some of the columns which were cluttering up the space anyway.

Work on the building will coninue to move forward primarily on the exterior, with certain interior elements added along the way. My experience has taught me when to switch because some interior elements have to be taken into account based on exterior design, like placement of walls, stairs, and the like.
